“There is nothing in the world stronger than gentleness.” Han Suyin
I qualified as a counselling practitioner 25 years ago after experiencing the benefits of counselling for myself, it gave me the space to re-evaluate life and gain skills I continue to use. I have worked therapeutically with individuals of all ages over many years in different settings, often through times of great change.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within their Ethical Framework of Good Practice, receive regular supervision, am fully insured and undertake continuing professional development to maintain the best service.
I am also a complementary health practitioner registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I support public health by encouraging clients to make positive lifestyle changes that could improve their health and wellbeing. Always interested in learning and alongside running my own business, I studied with the Open University and gained a Bsc Open in 2017.
